Usually at this time of year, people start dreaming of tall, caffeinated drinks loaded with pumpkin puree. Local establishments turn off the hazelnut tap and begin ordering apples by the truckload. If it has cinnamon and honey in it, the average Midwestern will drink it 40 ounces at a time. Anything to sip from the deep, fleeting well that is Minnesota autumn. But not your dreams. Your dreams are tinged with the homes of Woodbury, and lately they've been recurring. Mostly, you dream of a 2,000-square-foot two-story home with three bedrooms on one level. In this dream, you get out of bed and wander into your ensuite primary bathroom with dual vanity. You picture a pastoral, sprawling, already-fenced backyard space with direct access off the deck. You head downstairs and there it is, exactly as you imagined. You open the sliding glass door just next to the kitchen, then watch as your dog sprints outside to burn off the morning zoomies unsupervised. You gaze upon tons of cabinet space, beautifully updated finishes, a small eat-in island, a dedicated adjacent formal dining room, and multiple living room / flex spaces all within reach. You ponder whether you'll watch a movie in the finished basement later or knock out 60 minutes of Vinyasa flow. You know MN fall is brief, but you're not overly concerned about the eventual snows--you remember that you're safely parked in the attached 2-car garage. You might even take in the changing colors at nearby Pioneer and Edgewater Parks, two places you've already made countless memories. Just before your alarm sounds, the dream ends as it always does: You pour your favorite morning brew, settle in on the front porch, and watch the neighborhood slowly come to life. Usually, the dream ends here. But at 9070 Glacier Road, reality is everything you dreamed it could be.
